The Artist-in-Residence program embeds artists, designers, researchers, printers, and educators in HMCT Archetype Press for a specified period. Candidates are chosen because of their non-traditional and/or innovative approach to the use of type + analog technology. Residencies offer the rare opportunity for designers and artists to investigate the importance and relevance of type in their practice or personal research.
