Thursday, 10/24/24, 7 PM — 9 PM | Our October Printer-in-Residence who is embedded in ArtCenter letterpress classes this week at HMCT Archetype Press will share her work and process with the public. Jessica, a letterpress printer since 1989, invented Daredevil Furniture for the composition of metal type in circles, curves and angles. Her works include artist books, broadsides and ephemera. Saturday, 10/26, 9 AM — 4 PM | Spend a day alongside daredevil printer Jessica Spring and immerse yourself in daredevil typesetting and printing techniques. Move beyond straight lines and right angles to set type that curves, angles, and bounces. Previous letterpress printing experience is not required.
